Nursing Homes and Covid Vaccine

There is a lot of confusion about the current state of the law regarding Texas Skilled Nursing Facilities and Covid.  First, Governor Abbott’s prior orders respecting Covid precautions have either expired or been lifted.  That means it is up to each facility to make rules to deal with infection control.  In other words, it is the same now as it was before Covid, Nursing Homes have to take measures to protect residents and staff against infectious diseases of ALL varieties.  Second, many, if not most, facilities are requiring new residents to be vaccinated against Covid-19 as a condition of admission.  This is a choice on the part of the facility.

If you are afraid to be vaccinated, then you should seek out alternatives to nursing home care or seek a nursing home that will allow admission without a Covid Vaccine.  If you are afraid that the vaccine is, somehow, interacting with 5G cell phone towers or FM radio transmitters or even WiFi devices in your home, you should know, there is no credible evidence whatsoever that this sort of interaction is even possible, much less that there is some secret government campaign to control people through this combination of medicine and technology.  If you still have concerns, talk to a qualified physician, STOP reading posts by lawyers, or ANYONE ELSE about this absolutely crazy theory.  If you are wearing a tin-foil hat while reading this POST, YOU NEED IMMEDIATE INTERVENTION WITH A MENTAL HEALTH PROFESSIONAL!
